Jammu (GNS): Body of a Kupwara youth, who died in Khanna in Punjab, is among six other mortal remains stranded at Banihal in Ramban district along Srinagar-Jammu highway.
Reports said that the mortal remains of six persons belonging to different districts of Kashmir valley are left stranded with the thoroughfare yet to be cleared of accumulated snow at several places.
Among the six bodies includes that of a youth from Pazipora in frontier Kupwara district, who died at Khanna in Punjab state.
The family of youth appealed administration to felicitate early arrival of the body. Similar appeals were made by those carrying back the other bodies.
Meanwhile an official told GNS that all the bodies remain at SDH Ramban. “Efforts are on to clear the roads of snow and other blockades as soon as possible.”
