GANDERBAL: The Weekly Block Diwas, government’s public outreach programme was held at Conference Hall of Mini Secretariat, here under the chairmanship of Additional District Development Commissioner (ADDC) Ganderbal, Pir Muzafar Ahmad.

During the proceedings, PRIs and various public deputations of Block Sherpathri called upon the ADDC and raised their demands of public importance.

The issues raised by the PRIs and individuals include uninterrupted supply of electricity, augmentation of Healthcare facilities, development of roads, upgradation of transformers and other related issues.

The ADDC gave a patient hearing to the demands and grievances raised and assured that all genuine issues will be forwarded to the concerned departments for early redressal.

Speaking on the occasion, the ADDC said that necessary instruction has been already given to the line departments for early resolution of issues pertaining to their respective departments and are directed for ensuring prompt and speedy redressal of the possible issues raised during the Block Diwas programs as per their competence.

ADC Ganderbal, Farooq Ahmad Baba, CPO, ACP, Ex. Engineer R&B, and other District officers were present during Block Diwas proceedings.

Later, Pension Booklets and Golden Cards were distributed among the beneficiaries.
