District administration Srinagar today conducted a mock drill to check post disaster response for combatting natural disasters including earthquake, landslide and others.
Talking to reporters on the sidelines of the event, the Deputy Commissioner Srinagar, Mohammad Aijaz Asad said the program was organised with the coordination of SDRF, NDRF and other line departments including Health, PHE eand others.
While taking the stock of the preparedness by the district administration, the DC Srinagar maintained “It was a check to see where we stand at this juncture to deal with any eventuality”.
